3rd Meeting of Article 14 eHealth Network - progress on eHealth issues

​The most recent, 3rd meeting of the Article 14 eHealth Network formed by the Member States according to European Directive on Patients Rights in Cross-Border Healthcare has been held on 14 May 2013 at Dublin (colocated to the eHealth Week). Items on the Agenda of the Network were e.g.

  • Set of data for exchange of patients' summary, i.e. a non-exhaustive data set that can be exchanged across borders (cf. report and annexes);
  • Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), eHealth involvement and ideas for a permanent structure to work on interoperability;
  • Ongoing work of the eHGI on semantic and technical interoperability;
  • eIdentification for eHealth;
  • Report of eHGI concerning the Commission proposal for a Regulation on data protection.

The Joint Action e-Health Governance Initiative JA-EHGov has recieved funding from the European Union, In the framework of the Health Programme.
The project SEHGovIA is Thematic Network and Is partially funded under the ICT Policy Support Programme (ICTPSP) as part of the Competitiveness and Framework Programm by the European Commission.
