General Information on Work Packages

Work Packages of the eHealth Governance Initiative (Overview)
  • (JA) WP1 Coordination - CO – (Leader and Main Partner, ATNA) – is in charge of internal and external coordination in the global framework of the European eHealth Governance Initiative and is the single interface with the European Commission Services and APs for strategic, technical, administrative, financial matters &monitoring.
  • (JA) WP2 Dissemination – DISS – (Leader NHIC) will provide support in information sharing, communication and dissemination, with the aim of supporting eHealth framework activities, action plans and guidelines.
  • (JA) WP3 Evaluation – EVA – includes actions undertaken to verify and/or evaluate if the JA is being implemented as planned.
  • (JA) WP4 Policy Development and Strategy Alignment – PS – will ensure that all work carried out within the project is responding to the needs of patients and health professionals and is closely linked to the National and European healthcare policy framework.
  • (JA) WP5 Mainstreaming – MST – will produce an agreed proposal for a European eHealth Interoperability Strategy as one of the main health policy instrument in the context of the European eHealth Governance Process.
  • (JA) WP6 Trust and Acceptability - T&A -will support the main outcome of the project, which is contributing to improvements in eHealth governance and enhanced co-ordination between Member States' and the European Commission's eHealth policies.
  • (TN) WP1 Coordination - CO – will be in charge of internal and external coordination in the global framework of the European eHealth Governance Initiative and will be the single interface with the European Commission Services and APs for strategic, technical, administrative, financial matters &monitoring.
  • (TN) WP7 Roadmapping - RM - Building upon the existing CALLIOPE stakeholders’ network and consolidated framework, this Work Package will be responsible for –on the same basis- holding well prepared workshops with background material and concrete questions distributed to invitees well in advance in order to refine the existing Roadmap, result of the last iteration in CALLIOPE.
  • (TN) WP8 Interoperability, Standardisation and Market - ISM - The security and data protection framework will address identification, authentication and role-based authorization mechanisms for health care professionals and patients as well as encryption and electronic signature mechanism.
  • (TN) WP9 Legal and Protection of Personal Data -LPPD - will address the overall objective ‘Legislation as a facilitator’ and will focus on the process of removing barriers in a European information health space.
      The Joint Action e-Health Governance Initiative JA-EHGov has recieved funding from the European Union, In the framework of the Health Programme.
      The project SEHGovIA is Thematic Network and Is partially funded under the ICT Policy Support Programme (ICTPSP) as part of the Competitiveness and Framework Programm by the European Commission.
